In a Soul Calibur IV ending (Amy's), a guy named Raphael asked the Soul Calibur to grant him a wish. (Sounds like asking a genie.)
Anyway, this is what he said. "Ah, Soul Calibur, create a new World for Amy and me!"
Amy is currently his foster daughter, ever since she saved Raphael's life from something.. wait, going off topic.
So, read his speech.
Original: *Create a new World for Amy and me*
Some argues that it should be: *Create a new World for Amy and I*
So which is correct?
My opinion is that both of them are correct in their own logic. If he is referring to himself as the first person, and wanted Amy to be in HIS world, then it will be "Create a new World for (Amy and) me!" However, if it is the other, it will be "Create a new World for Amy (and I)!"
The purpose of this post is not for some random english lesson, but to tell others what we have said can mean totally different things. Think before you speak. :O
